In Conversation - Limited Edition Handmade Book - PRE-ORDER

This listing is for PRE-ORDERING a varied Limited Edition (10) handmade book complete with 24 original cyanotypes created in a delight-filled collaboration with Winterthur staff photographer, Natale Caccamo. This is a PRE-ORDER - each book is made by hand from start to finish and will be sent out upon completion no later than March 2025.

Each left page displays a typewriter-typed thoughts/quotes about nature and conversation. Each right page displays a pairing of 4" x 6" original cyanotypes. Fern photographs made by Nat Caccamo in studio, digital negatives and cyanotypes created by Sarah Bourne Rafferty. Each and every page of this book is made my hand, the original images, the typewriter pages and the binding.

All 24 original images were made using ferns from my time at Winterthur as Artist in Residence Summer 2024 - each specimen in this collection was hand-selected from the exquisite Winterthur Garden collection.

Aren’t we all in conversation all of the time? 
With ourselves? With each other? With the natural world?
I’ve found the conversation with nature to be the kindest and most meaningful of them all.
