Join me for a 3-hour, IN-PERSON workshop at my new studio right outside of the borough of West Chester, PA on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 from 1pm - 4pm.
Learn how to turn a digital image from your phone into a transparent negative printed via the computer! Each student will send Sarah an image from their iPhone (wait for the email before doing so) and she will prepare a digital negative (a transparency negative of your image) from which to work at the start of class. Then she will teach you the steps to creating your own from the computer in her studio.
You will be immersed in the wonder of learning the history and basics of how to create a cyanotype by using a digital negative. Details will be sent to you via email for this workshop as I will need digital images before the workshop begins so I can print them out for you!
Supplies and refreshments will be provided.
No experience necessary to have fun with the cyanotype process! Think of this as workshop meets creative retreat afternoon. We'll spend the day together in conversation and creativity. I encourage anyone to attend, you don't need to know a thing about this process or even be "creative" to get a great results.
*My studio is unfortunately not accessible without going up a flight of stairs. We will be going up and down in order to expose images to the sunlight.
You will receive a confirmation email upon purchase (please save it) and another the week before the workshop with details for your visit. ALL WORKSHOP SALES ARE FINAL.
THIS PURCHASE IS FOR 1 NON-REFUNDABLE TICKET. In the event of an emergency or cancellation please try your best to find someone to go in your place. Their name and email must be provided before the morning of the workshop.
